The maiden, from her window, fair,

often looks to the street down there.

The cars are always racing by,

and the Urban beauty is no lie.

The silver city background,

that's rarely ever found,

the view of 82nd Street

is one no mountain can compete.
Love HatesHe watches me with concern in his eyes,

he asks if I'm alright.

I want to cry,

I want to say no,

but I lie

every time he asks

and say yes,

and drag my feet through

another day.

I dream that I'll love him

someday

but I can't,

not today.

we stood on these hills and watched.

long ago in days of fun

we sat in the corner and glared

long ago in days of joy,

we laid in the alley and cried.

long ago before the anger,

we had dear friends to share life with.

Long ago, before the hate,

we had love left to give, and sight

but now it's used to judge,

you against me.

whispers echo off the walls

the undead slowly travel these halls

This can be used as a wallpaper-- it is 1366 x 768, which is the pixel size of my computer, but i suppose it would work on others as well.
